Use an egg carton to create a beautifully unique, 3D painting that is excellent for a wedding or Mother’s Day present!
Get your supplies!
You will need:
Micador Clean Slate stretched canvas, 20x20in, ¾” frame
Egg Carton
Micador Lotus Palette
Brushes
Micador Acrylic Paint Pack - Pastels
Acrylic paint 24 set tubes
Craft Glue
Step 1: Cut Out!
Carefully cut out the egg cups from carton, these will be made into flowers. Cut different sized and shaped petals when you cut your egg cups, to create different types of flowers.
Step 2: Make Your Flowers!
Using the left-over pieces of your carton, cut out tear drop shapes for your leaves.
Step 3: Paint!
Use acrylic paint to colour your leaves and petals. Then paint a background onto your canvas. Try a garden scene or even solid colours that will compliment your flowers.
Step 4: Glue onto your canvas!
Once everything is dry, plan out where everything will go – then glue your leaves and flowers onto the canvas. Add a photo to make a personalised gift or display!
