Create some bright and colourful paper Christmas lights to hang throughout the festive season!
Get your supplies!
You will need:
Micador Marathon Markers, Wallet 12
Micador jR. Drawing Paper, A3
Micador jR. Safe Scissors
String
Graphite pencil
Sticky tape
Step 1: Draw!
Using a graphite pencil, draw or trace some light bulbs onto your drawing paper. You can find a template for the bulbs that we used above. The more light bulbs you draw, the longer the garland will be!
Step 2: Colour!
Use your Marathon Markers to colour in the light bulbs. Use bright colours like yellow, orange, red, green and blue. Colour the base of the lightbulbs in black - this is where the string will attach at the back.
Step 3: Cut!
Follow the pencil outline and cut out each light bulb from the page.
Step 4: Hang!
Cut a length of string and begin attaching the light bulbs to it. Alternate the colours and use a piece of sticky tape on the back of each bulb to attach the string. Allow a bit of extra string on each end so you can tie or hang the garland.
