You will need:

  • Micador Create It Art Pad – A4

  • Micador Drawing White Paper Pad – A4

  • Micador Scissors

  • Early stART Glue Stick (or staples)

  • Micador Colourfun Markers

Step 1: Cut your paper!

Cut an A4 piece of paper in half vertically and then start cutting 3cm wide strips horizontally until you have approx. 25 strips, keep any leftover pieces and use them for your heads.

Step 2: Count your strips!

Number the strips from 1 to 25. For best results, write the numbers long ways (portrait) so that when you link your strips they are easy to read.

Step 3: Link your chain

Take one strip of paper and curl it around so that the two lengths overlap slightly, apply glue to the facing overlapping piece and hold ends together for a few seconds until dry. Start at strip 1 and continue until you reach strip 25.

Step 4: Make the heads and hats!

Using the extra strips (white for snowman and red for Santa) create a neck. On another strip (both white) draw their faces. For the Snowman’s hat, cut a circle for the base of the hat and then roll a strip and secure it to the top of the hat. For Santa’s hat, form a cone shape with red paper and secure it. Link these links to the 25th chain.
