Help your kids develop fine motor skills and their imaginations by construction this wooden cabin with them.
You will need:
Popsicle sticks
PVA glue
Scissors
Ruler
Marathon Markers
Step 1: Construct the entrance!
Begin by laying down popsicle sticks to make a wall. Glue them together and once they’re dry, cut out the door and window. Add popsicle sticks in the opposite direction to embellish the design.
Step 2: Join the walls together!
Create all four walls and glue them together to create a square cabin room. The popsicle sticks should fit into each other filling in the gaps along the side.
Step 3: Dont forget the roof!
Lay down several popsicle sticks to create a roof as wide as the cabin. Place popsicle sticks in the opposite direction and glue them down to secure the design. Place the two panels together so they come to a point. Use your ruler to make sure both sides of your roof are even.
Step 4: Finish it off!
Glue together all of the edges and use Marathon Markers to decorate your design.
